ABOUT THE CREW

SwanSong Burial at Sea was founded by Paul Cuoco and his son, Greg Cuoco, after the death of a close family member. This family owned and operated business aims to bring closure to families and friends who have lost loved ones. Our goal is to bring your loved one to their final resting place with the utmost respect and dignity.

The Captain and First Mate of Swan Song Burial have over 45 combined years of experience navigating the waters off Cape Cod. Master Captain Paul Cuoco is licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard. First Mate Greg Cuoco is fully trained to administer the sea burial services provided by SwanSong Burial.

We have a strong love and respect for the waters that we have grown up on, and strive to ensure all our guests have a safe and comfortable experience.

US Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain, Paul Cuoco

Paul, the Captain of Swan Song Burial, got his first boat when he was 20 years old. He has an immense love of the ocean and spends every chance he has on the water. Paul is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Master Captain and formally an Assistant Harbormaster in East Dennis, Massachusetts. Paul’s final wish is to be laid to rest in the seas off Cape Cod, which he has devoted so much of his life to. Paul hopes to grant others the peace that they wish for through Swan Song Burial.

Greg Cuoco

Greg is Swan Song Burial’s First Mate. He has served as First Mate to Captain Paul since he was 16 years old. As First Mate, Greg has substantial experience in preparing, securing, and maintaining numerous vessels to ensure a safe trip for both crew and passengers.

An avid fisherman, Greg fishes for tuna, striped bass and blues in the waters off Cape Cod.
